New Paths Begins Thanks to Support from the Asset Recovery Community Scheme
Party Time Garden is delighted to announce the successful launch of New Paths, an innovative conservation and personal development programme made possible through funding from the Asset Recovery Community Scheme (ARCS).
The ARCS programme reinvests recovered criminal assets back into communities, helping organisations develop projects that prevent crime, support rehabilitation and create opportunities for positive change. We are proud that Party Time Garden has been entrusted to deliver a project that demonstrates exactly how these funds can make a lasting difference.
Over the coming weeks, we will be developing a pilot programme using the Garden as a base for training young people referred through statutory and community partners who will take part in practical conservation activities, environmental education and personal development. Working alongside experienced mentors, participants will improve the local environment while developing confidence, teamwork and new life skills.
The programme is built around three exciting themes:
Bee-have – learning about biodiversity, responsibility and the importance of pollinators.
Growing Together – using community gardening to build confidence, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
HEREitage – connecting people with local heritage through practical conservation projects based around wood, stone and water.
New Paths reflects our belief that practical outdoor learning can help people discover new opportunities, build resilience and contribute positively to their communities.
We would like to thank the Asset Recovery Community Scheme for recognising the potential of this project and investing in positive futures for local young people.
Sometimes the best way to change a life is to help someone build something that will benefit others.
